The historic Blatenský příkop water channel is a remarkable example of human engineering. Built in the 16th century to supply local mines with water, it now forms an educational trail with 23 information panels. Note: the terrain is demanding and not stroller‑friendly. Halfway along the 10 km route from Boží Dar to Horní Blatná, you can reward yourself with a cold drink and a snack in Ryžovna.
