The Zlatý Kopec Nature Park is just a stone’s throw from Ryžovna. Like Ryžovna, the local nature here will take your breath away. In medieval times, people supposedly found gold here – hence the name “Golden Hill” – but today you’re more likely to find a peaceful oasis. Then again, who knows, maybe you’ll spot a golden speck or two. In the past, the area was rich in tin, copper, zinc, and silver mining, as evidenced by the well-preserved entrance portals to the Dreikönig and Kohlreuter adits on both sides of the stream.
