Good to know: The cable car from Jáchymov to Klínovec transports bikes for free.
Route: From Loučná, follow route 3002 to the crossroads below Meluzína, where you’ll turn right onto another cycle route. Continue until you reach Pytlácká Rokle, where you’ll connect with route 2011 leading to the crossroads below Klínovec. From there, take cycle path 2005A all the way to Boží Dar. Continue along route 23 and at the Myslivny reservoir, switch to route 2002, known as the Jáchymov Link. Stay on it until you reach the crossroads Pod Špičákem, where you’ll join route 2198 leading to the Nové Město district of Jáchymov. Leave the route there and continue downhill into the town. At Agricol Square, reconnect with route 2005A, which will take you to the cable car that lifts you to the Klínovec summit. The cherry on top is the 6 km downhill ride from the highest point of the Ore Mountains back to Loučná.
