In the picturesque town of Oberwiesenthal, right by the Czech–German border near Boží Dar, you’ll find several great sledding options. The first is a groomed sledding hill (Rodelhang) in the town center – wide, well-maintained, and safe. The second is a sled run that starts at the summit of Fichtelberg and speeds all the way down to Oberwiesenthal – best suited for more experienced riders. You can reach the top of Fichtelberg by cable car.
