Germany’s oldest cable car was built in 1924 and is a landmark of Oberwiesenthal, easily accessible from Loučná pod Klínovcem and Boží Dar. Whether in summer or winter, it takes visitors up to the Fichtelberg. Over 1,175 meters it climbs 303 meters in elevation, offering beautiful views of the valley and ski jumps. In 2024, this “Old Lady” celebrated 100 years of operation.
