Hasištejn Castle is one of the oldest castles in Northwest Bohemia and once played an important strategic role in defending the region. When you first see it perched on the rocky ridge above the Prunéřovský stream, you’ll instantly understand why. Parts of the original tower — now a viewpoint — walls and interiors remain. The tour takes about an hour and can be done from April to October. The easiest access is via the yellow hiking trail from the nearby village of Místo, where you can also park.
