We’ll guide you through the Ore Mountains

Admire the nature

The Ore Mountains hide many natural “gems,” and one of the most striking is the Basaltfächer — a basalt formation shaped like a fan or palm leaf, believed to be the remnant of an extinct volcano. The 15‑meter formation is impressive and very photogenic. You’ll find it near the border, close to the Hirststein peak.
