We’ll guide you through the Ore Mountains

Admire the nature

Around Přebuz lies a vast natural park — one of the most fascinating in the Ore Mountains. The area is laced with mining tunnels; many collapsed over time, forming “pinky” sinkholes. Stay on the marked paths. Highlights include the Great and Small Crane Moors, the crane lakes and the Přebuz heathland.

The Great Crane Lake, a classic mountain peat bog, may remind visitors more of Šumava than the Ore Mountains. Nearby you can visit a former tin‑mine shaft. We also recommend climbing Komáří vrch for its stone “sea” and the striking Hraběcí rock.

Family info: This trip is stroller‑friendly.
