In the more than 500-year-old Johannes Adit, miners once extracted mostly copper and tin. You’ll find it near Boží Dar, right by the German border, in the area known as Zlatý Kopec. From May to October, you can descend underground and explore the vast chambers carved out by miners centuries ago. There are two tour options – a shorter and a longer one, which we recommend if you want to learn everything about mining history.
Helmets and boots are provided free of charge, but be sure to dress warmly – like in other mines, the constant 7 °C can surprise you even in summer.
